Ingredients
- 1½ lbs lamb, cut into cubes
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder (optional)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh herbs (parsley or cilantro)
- Skewers (wooden or metal)
Directions
Step 1:
In a bowl, mix yogurt, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, spices, salt, and pepper.
Step 2:
Add lamb cubes and coat well. Cover and marinate for at least 4 hours or overnight for best results.
Step 3:
Preheat grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes.
Step 4:
Thread marinated lamb onto skewers.
Step 5:
Grill skewers for 10–12 minutes, turning occasionally, until lamb is cooked and slightly charred.
Step 6:
Remove from grill and rest for a few minutes before serving.
