Ingredients
- 14 oz firm tofu, pressed and cubed
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 3 tablespoons oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon rice vinegar or lime juice
- 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/4 teaspoon red chili flakes (optional)
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 2 green onions, sliced
Directions
Step 1:
Pat tofu dry and toss with cornstarch until evenly coated.
Step 2:
Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and fry tofu until golden and crispy on all sides. Remove and set aside.
Step 3:
In the same pan, add garlic and sauté briefly.
Step 4:
Stir in sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, and chili flakes. Simmer for 1–2 minutes.
Step 5:
Add crispy tofu back to the pan and toss until fully coated in glaze.
Step 6:
Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
