Ingredients
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1½ cups marinara or tomato sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (Italian-style preferred)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano or Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley or basil, chopped (for garnish)
Directions
Step 1:
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
Step 2:
Arrange shrimp evenly in the baking dish and season with salt and pepper.
Step 3:
Pour marinara sauce over the shrimp.
Step 4:
In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, olive oil, garlic, oregano, and half of the Parmesan cheese.
Step 5:
Sprinkle breadcrumb mixture over the shrimp, then top with mozzarella and remaining Parmesan.
Step 6:
Bake uncovered for 18–22 minutes until shrimp are cooked through and cheese is bubbly and golden.
Step 7:
Garnish with fresh herbs and serve hot.
