 Directions:
Prepare the smash burger beef
Heat butter or oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and press it down slightly so it browns like smash burger meat. Cook until deeply browned.
 Season the beef
Add diced onion, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, mustard, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 3–4 minutes until the onions soften and the beef is flavorful. Set aside.
 Make the creamy ranch base
In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, cheddar, pepper jack, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, pickle juice, and black pepper until thick and creamy.
 Combine the dip
Fold most of the cooked beef into the creamy ranch cheese mixture. Save a little beef for topping.
 Assemble
Spread the dip into a small baking dish or a wide glass jar. Top with the reserved beef, chopped pickles, diced jalapeños, cheddar, crispy onions, and a little extra ranch seasoning.
 Bake
Bake at 375°F / 190°C for 15–18 minutes, until hot, creamy, and bubbling around the edges.
 Add the voodoo finish
Mix burger sauce or spicy mayo with hot sauce and a splash of pickle juice. Drizzle it over the hot dip.
 Serve hot
Serve immediately with toasted baguette slices, chips, crackers, or pretzels.
