Ingredients
- 1 French baguette or loaf, sliced
- 4 tablespoons butter, softened
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano or Italian seasoning
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions
Step 1:
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Step 2:
In a bowl, mix softened butter, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and oregano until well combined.
Step 3:
Spread the garlic butter evenly over the bread slices.
Step 4:
Sprinkle mozzarella and parmesan cheese generously on top.
Step 5:
Arrange the bread slices on a baking tray.
Step 6:
Bake for 10–12 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Step 7:
For extra crispiness, broil for 1–2 minutes until lightly golden.
Step 8:
Remove from oven, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve warm.
