Ingredients
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- Salt, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Chopped fresh parsley or cilantro (for garnish)
Directions
Step 1:
In a bowl, combine yogurt, lemon juice, lemon zest, olive oil, garlic, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper.
Step 2:
Add shrimp to the marinade and toss until well coated. Cover and refrigerate for 20–30 minutes.
Step 3:
Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat and lightly oil the grates.
Step 4:
Thread shrimp onto skewers or place directly on the grill.
Step 5:
Grill shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and lightly charred.
Step 6:
Remove from grill and garnish with fresh parsley or cilantro before serving.
