4 cups Rice Krispies cereal
3 cups mini marshmallows
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 cup fresh blueberries
For the Vanilla Glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Step 1: Prepare the Rice Krispies Base
In a large pot, melt the unsalted butter over medium-low heat.
Add the mini marshmallows and stir continuously until fully melted and smooth.
Remove the pot from the heat and gently fold in the Rice Krispies cereal, ensuring all the cereal is evenly coated.
Carefully fold in the fresh blueberries, distributing them throughout the mixture. Be gentle to avoid crushing the berries.
Step 2: Shape the Rice Krispies
Lightly grease a 9×9-inch pan or line it with parchment paper.
Press the Rice Krispies mixture into the pan using a greased spatula or your hands.
Be sure to press gently to avoid squishing the blueberries.
Set the pan aside and let the mixture cool and firm up for about 30 minutes.
Step 3: Make the Vanilla Glaze
In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth and pourable. If the glaze is too thick, add more milk, one teaspoon at a time.
Step 4: Decorate and Serve
Drizzle the vanilla glaze over the cooled Rice Krispies.
Let the glaze set for about 10 minutes before cutting into squares.
