1 lb. Ground beef
1 Onion chopped
1 red or green bell or a mix of both pepper chopped
2 tsp. Minced garlic
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp even mix of garlic powder, onion powder and black pepper together
10 oz. Diced tomatoes with green chilis
3 C. Cabbage chopped
10 oz. Beef broth
1 C. Shredded cheddar cheese
Salt to taste
- Add the ground beef, onions and red or green peppers or a mix of both to a skillet over medium high heat. Cook until the meat is completely browned and the vegetables are tender.
- Mix in the minced garlic and saute until 30 seconds. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the worcestershire sauce and seasoning mix as well as salt to taste.
- Pour in the beef broth and stir to combine.
- Add the cabbage to the skillet, cover with a lid, reduce the heat to medium and cook for 20 minutes.
- Remove the lid, stir in the shredded cheese and serve.
