Crispy Chicken Appetizers

Ingredients (Recipe Content)

1 pound boneless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup cornstarch

2 eggs, beaten

1 cup breadcrumbs or panko

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Salt, to taste

Oil, for frying

Chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Directions

Step 1:
Season the chicken pieces with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

Step 2:
Prepare three bowls: one with flour and cornstarch, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs.

Step 3:
Coat each chicken piece first in the flour mixture, then dip into the egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.

Step 4:
Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.

Step 5:
Carefully fry the chicken pieces in batches for 4–5 minutes until golden brown and crispy.

Step 6:
Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.

Step 7:
Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
