Garlic Butter Shrimp Rice

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Directions

Step 1:
Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Step 2:
Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Step 3:
Add shrimp, paprika, chili flakes, salt, and pepper. Cook for 2–3 minutes per side until shrimp turn pink.

Step 4:
Stir in lemon juice and remove shrimp from skillet.

Step 5:
Add cooked rice to the same skillet and toss to coat in the garlic butter sauce.

Step 6:
Return shrimp to the skillet and gently mix.

Step 7:
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
