Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3/4 cup warm water (as needed)
- 1 cup labneh
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley or mint, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, finely minced (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Butter or oil, for cooking
Directions
Step 1:
In a bowl, mix flour, salt, and baking powder. Add olive oil and warm water gradually to form a soft dough.
Step 2:
Knead the dough for 5–7 minutes until smooth. Cover and rest for 20 minutes.
Step 3:
In a separate bowl, mix labneh, herbs, garlic, and black pepper.
Step 4:
Divide dough into equal balls. Roll each into a small circle, place labneh mixture in the center, and seal edges.
Step 5:
Flatten gently and roll into a stuffed flatbread.
Step 6:
Cook on a hot greased skillet over medium heat until golden on both sides.
Step 7:
Serve warm with extra labneh or salad on the side.
