1 lb ground beef
½ large onion diced
1 sweet red pepper diced
12 ounces sliced mushrooms
2 tablespoons Penzer’s Italian Seasonion
1 small can tomato paste
¼ cup olive oil or a little more
½ teaspoon ground garlic
Brown meat and drain.
Add vegetables and season with salt and pepper to taste Cook until vegetables are soften
In a saucepan add olive oil, tomato paste, garlic and Penzey’s seasoning. Bring up heat until hot. Taste and adjust seasoning.
Using your own pizza dough or a store bought on assemble and top with fresh shredded cheese
Place in cold oven and bake on a stone at 400-degrees until crust is brown and cheese is melted. If you don’t have a pizza stone, place a cookie sheet and preheat oven to 400 degrees and place parchment pizza dough on foil topped with parchment paper and place on cookie sheet.
Once pizza is done, place it on a wire rack to cool slightly. Cut into desired slices.
