Ingredients
- 14 oz firm tofu, pressed and cubed
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (or vegetarian oyster sauce)
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/2 cup vegetable broth or water
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: chili flakes or chili sauce
Directions
Step 1:
Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a pan. Pan-fry tofu cubes until golden on all sides. Remove and set aside.
Step 2:
In the same pan, add remaining oil and sauté garlic until fragrant.
Step 3:
Add broccoli and stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until bright green.
Step 4:
Mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, broth, sesame oil, and pepper in a bowl.
Step 5:
Pour sauce into the pan, return tofu, and cook until sauce thickens and coats everything evenly.
Step 6:
Adjust seasoning, add chili if desired, and serve hot.
