Ingredients
- 14 ounces firm tofu, pressed and cubed
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (for garnish)
- Chopped green onions (for garnish)
Directions
Step 1:
Toss the tofu cubes with cornstarch until evenly coated.
Step 2:
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Fry tofu until golden and crispy on all sides. Remove and set aside.
Step 3:
In the same skillet, add sesame oil, grated ginger, and minced garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Step 4:
Add bell peppers and broccoli. Stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until tender-crisp.
Step 5:
Stir in soy sauce, rice vinegar, and honey (or maple syrup).
Step 6:
Return tofu to the skillet and toss until everything is well coated.
Step 7:
Remove from heat and garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
