Ingredients
- 1½ cups plain yogurt (Greek or regular)
- 1 medium cucumber, finely grated and excess water squeezed out
- 2 tablespoons fresh mint, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic, minced (optional)
- Salt, to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional)
- Pinch of black pepper
Directions
Step 1:
Place grated cucumber in a bowl and squeeze out as much liquid as possible.
Step 2:
In a mixing bowl, add yogurt, cucumber, mint, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and pepper.
Step 3:
Mix well until smooth and evenly combined.
Step 4:
Drizzle with olive oil if desired and chill for at least 15 minutes before serving.
Step 5:
Serve cold as a dip or sauce.
