Ingredients
- 2 pounds chicken thighs or breasts
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
- Salt, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Chopped fresh parsley or cilantro (for garnish)
Directions
Step 1:
In a large bowl, mix yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, paprika, cumin, coriander, salt, and black pepper.
Step 2:
Add chicken to the marinade and coat well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (or up to overnight).
Step 3:
Preheat grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grates.
Step 4:
Remove chicken from marinade, allowing excess to drip off.
Step 5:
Grill chicken for 5–7 minutes per side until cooked through and nicely charred.
Step 6:
Remove from grill and let rest for a few minutes.
Step 7:
Garnish with fresh parsley or cilantro before serving.
