Ingredients
- 1½ lbs boneless chicken thighs or breasts
- 3/4 cup plain yogurt
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley or cilantro, for garnish
Directions
Step 1:
In a bowl, whisk yogurt, tahini, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, and spices until smooth.
Step 2:
Add chicken and coat evenly. Marinate for at least 1 hour (or overnight for deeper flavor).
Step 3:
Heat a skillet or oven to medium heat (or preheat oven to 375°F / 190°C).
Step 4:
Cook chicken in a skillet for 6–7 minutes per side, or bake for 30–35 minutes until cooked through.
Step 5:
Spoon extra sauce over chicken while cooking for added creaminess.
Step 6:
Garnish with fresh herbs and serve warm.
